A Nigerian American industrial designer has created a 3d weaving #machine that can make shoes. He believes the #method, he’ve invented, could be applied to protective #clothing in sports, for making bulletproof vests and in #constructing buildings.
Hmm…I’ll bet you could weave in some Project Jacquard into that machine and get some interesting sensors into footwear. Maybe Regina shouldn’t have been joking so much about the socks thing and talked with this guy
