The glass bed of my printer is broken (some small parts of the glass come out with a print), so, I’m looking for any way to fix it.

I’ve seen the buildtak online and I was wondering if the addon of buildtak will fix this.

Thanks!

Borosilicate glass is a good option. It lasts longer for many prints. Bit costly.

I’ve use 0.8mm PEI sheets. It won’t be perfect, but will work.

I have a delta printer and I did not have accesw to the glass for my printer (it was packed away and burried) so I got some 12" diameter glass in the form of a mirror from Michael’s Crafts for $5. It might break just as easily as the other glass, but maybe combined with the PEI or something like tnat, you will ne okay.
How did you get adhesion so good that you broke your glass? ABS juice?

@NathanielStenzel just hairspray and too tight first layer settings

@Luis_Diaz interesting.

Take it as nature’s way of telling you to add a PEI sheet. It’s a great material to print on. Or for the ultimate in cheap fixes, turn the glass over.

A Fleks3D or similar system is pricey but worth the money. You could clip it over the remaining glass bed.
