The 3Doodler showed up in the most professional packaging I’ve seen from a Kickstarter yet. It’s fun to play with, but the feed-rate (at least on my unit) is not constant enough to mount to a robot for automated 3d printing. Sometimes it extrudes about 50mm, then briefly pauses, then extrudes 50mm, etc. This behavior wasn’t consistent, so I’m not sure of the cause.

Nicely done! I see that you’re using your own filament as well! The starter sampler looks too pretty to use!

Contact them, maybe it’s defective. Which filament diameter does it use ?

3mm. Seems to work fine with regular spooled filament, as long as it’s flexible enough to straighten out to feed the input tube.

I had a chance to try 3mm TPE yesterday. The results were not good - it does not feed properly. But ABS and PLA both are fine, of course.
