Yep. It’s what’s mainly being used at my university’s FabLab. IIRC there’s around 18 of them there and they’re nearly all running 24/7.

@Jelle_Boomstra bed leveling tramming is a must, of course. On every printer. Except the very latest Printrbots with the Z-probe, but even those require a one-time setup to tell the firmware the probe’s offset. Cura does make it somewhat easy by providing the wizard.
That being said, i did get the UM ready-to-run from Nils, but never had to touch the bed adjustment, even after transport and after (gently) prying off some larger prints.

I never explicitly claim that the UM is open-source. While the CC-NC license is arguably non-compliant with Open-Source principles, it does not prevent anyone from making clones. In fact, i’ll be reviewing the Kora Alpha printer soon, which appears to be very much based on the Ultimaker design.
