That moment when you realize this motor needs swapping (it’s seriously hot, where the other two aren’t)…and you realize just how far apart you’ve gotta tear apart the printer to get to the mounting screws.

When you put it back together, can you use long screws from the other side?

Not really. And the thru holes drilled to accept a long wrench are obscured by the screws that hold the extrusions in place. Full disassembly is required. :frowning:

@Alex_Skoruppa the smoothieboard is sending the same current to all three motors…two came from a matched set I bought for printer number three, the third was a motor I bought for printer number one…the two are cold and the one is seriously hot…and it’s a delta, where I’m pretty sure you want all three matched as closely as possible.
