That moment when you find out all your freekin’ failures are the filament. Grrrrr.
In this case, it’s just plain white. I threw Makerbot (240C) orange on after it and everything’s printed fine. Which is freekin ironic, considering how hard it was to print Makerbot in the past.
I’ve got loads of samples of PLA from various suppliers on eBay. No problems with any of them. Yet the two large spools I bought at the same time are awful. Layers won’t bond at one temperature and it turns into a stringy mess 5C higher. A spool from #Fabidashery has just arrived, hope that’s good as it wasn’t cheap!
Hear, hear. In my case it took about 2 months. What a relief to finally find good filament though…
