@HalfNormal Thanks! Tango dancing is her favorite pastime, and she just moved and needs a living room clock, so this seemed like a good idea.

Dot mode will give great results when cutting cardboard and greatly reduce the risk of fire. Russ Sadler did a great video on it. It does slow the cut rate down

I think I posted a pic of the final version. It was a red face with black graphics. My friend loves it!

I should say though, the face didn’t turn out as well as I would have liked.

Tip (for future me): don’t by paint with primer in it and not expect the wood grain to go crazy. Buy primer, let it dry, then sand it before putting the final paint color(s) on it.
