When I received this K40 laser the ribbon in the picture was not connected. I got it connected but I am not sure how the ribbon should be routed exactly and secured from wear and tear. It does have the small sticky anchor on it and is not interfering with anything but I feel like might be an issue after repeated use. Do I need to do anything else here or is this Ok? Thanks in advance.
For reference the picture is looking down on the left front side of the laser bed/ inside the housing.
Make sure that the ribbon rolls back on itself with no interference over the full movement of the carriage. Secure the nonmoving part of the ribbon out of the way of any moving parts.
