My Mod-T has been giving me issues since the software update. So I’ve been learning about slicing settings as I go…

This looks like simple clogging of the nozzle or blocked flow somehow. I don’t see any obvious signs of warpage that would cause the split.

I’d want to see what the other sides looked like before I discarded warping as a hypothesis.

No warping on the other side. I’ve been told it’s probably an issue messing with the filament feeding into the printer. Causing the gears to be coated with filament.
I’m adjusting the temp and have cleaned up the gears that feed the filament. Running a test now.

When my ancient Thing-O-Matic does that it’s because the filament is binding or the filament feed wheel is dirty/slipping. More often than not its the filament binding slightly which in turn (because it’s mounted overhead of the extruder) lifts up the print head slightly. That looks more mechanical than software related…

It may be an extruder error, loose clamping force.
