Sometimes you need to have a project slightly elevated if you are spray coating something from multiple sides. I have one that I made with a piece of cardboard with wire nails stuck through it, but it’s gotten pretty janky. Decided it was time to make some studier ones.
Used some small pieces of scrap 1/8” ply and laser cut an even distribution of holes basically the same size of the wire nails I was using. A slightly snug fit and then locked the nails in with some CA glue.
