Saw this on twitter from Gimme Builds. He found he could use MEK Substitute to solvent weld PETG. I know what MEK is (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) but didn’t know what the “substitute” part was. After some digging it turns out this is just Ethyl Acetate being sold as “MEK Substitute”. Similar chemicals, Ethyl Acetate just has one more oxygen, and less toxic.
