so im looking to get some more filament for my Ultimaker Original, im looking for an affordable option with good quality filament. it would be nice for it to ship from the us to reduce shipping cost. Any Suggestions? Ideas?

Ultimachine filament. Or Printbl filament (comes from DiamondAge, @Vik_Olliver 's company down on the wrong half of the globe)

I have had good luck with pushplastics ABS and PLA.

Of the branded filaments, I have Ultimachine, Inventables, 3DXTech, and IC3D, and they all do great. I don’t have unbranded ABS, but unbranded (particularly Chinese) PLA seems to be a lot more hassle than it’s worth.

@Jeff_DeMaagd I agree. Printability of cheap Chinese abs is still OK and parts look good. But I have found part strength is where you notice the difference with cheap abs.

I forgot that I have Sainsmart ABS filament. Never again. I made an extruder idler lever with it and it experienced glass-like fractures at relatively light pressures. Its replacement made with a competing brand material is fine.
