You ask for an opinion on a revolution about which you provide no details, other than a vague reference to needing help with motor design, and that it’s going to replace bowdens.
I’d really have to have more details before I would consider backing such a project. More information about your engineering experience and background would help as well.
Doing the same thing…somewhat. Replacing the potentiometer in a servomotor with an encoder, and then using the heavy gear-down in order to place a much lighter weight head on a delta bot.

I think like everyone in this group would like to help with devlopment if the concept is good. And of course many would support your campaign.
Related to the campaign, I actually would look if you will make it completely Open Source, at least after your first production run. If that wouldn’t be the case I wouldn’t support it anyway.
So my guess, if you don’t want to make it open source at all, nobody here will support or help you.
