So I am somewhat new to 3d printing, and recently, just like many others, the power connector for my MP Makers Select fried. I tried a few things, including soldering the wires directly to the pins, but being inexperienced and clumsy with soldering, I managed to de-solder the burnt pin from the board. I’ve tried many things, but I am really having trouble soldering the pin back into place. I need you guy’s advice, because I am really frustrated at this point, and have tried several things, to no avail. Additionally, I’m pretty sure that my printer is outside of the 1 year warranty.
What should I do!?
Should I spend the $45 to replace the board? or is there some way of reattaching the wires?
Note that this is not a Heat Bed terminal problem, but the actual power supply to the board. I didn’t realize this when I ordered a Mosfet to hopefully solve the problem.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
