Smoothie board v1.1 not flashing

i tried flashing klipper on it.

I tried everything shown on internet.

When i add the firmware.bin, VBB and LED 1 (green) stays solid on. if i restart board all LEDs are going solid on but returns firmware.cur

What the issue can be?

did chatgpt all options still nothing

I would double and triple check that the firmware.bin file being used for klipper is for the Smoothieboard model/version. Sounds like an incorrect or corrupt firmware.bin file.

Or you downloaded the HTML page instead of the actual firmware file, that happens sometimes too.

I did all the steps for v1.1

Lpxx9 120mhz

Usb com

16kib bootloader

And took the klipper.bin

How do i check the .bin

M i miasing something?

I downloaded klipper.bin from out folder?

Is there a .bin file i can download for my board. Makes me think rasp pi its bad. Before deciding to pit klipper on it was showing me page not fpund on printers display (but worked a day before ok)

Udates..

I used firmware.bin fr9m smoothie website and now my leds are blinking.

But keeps give me the mcu error

Added to printer cfg the usb key as chatgpt said several times and still no luck

Is someone here that can write the firmware for me?

I’m going to suggest that for help with Klipper, the Klipper Discourse is the place to ask.

It’s possible to run all sorts of firmware on a smoothieboard, but the smoothie ecosystem that this Controllers > Smoothie category supports is primarily the combination of the Smoothieboard and the Smoothieware firmware that was written to it.

This category here on Maker Forums is not the place where you should look for expertise in getting Klipper running. It’s simply not its purpose.

In going to the Klipper discourse to get help, I have one piece of advice for you:

Don’t say that you did what chatgpt told you.

  • The project is not responsible for what chatgpt says
  • The project members don’t know what chatgpt said

Saying that you did all the things chatgpt said and not saying precisely what they were makes it very hard for people to help you. It will be perceived as lazy — expecting other people to work harder to guess what you might mean, instead of putting in the effort to actually tell them.
