If I am frying eggs to put on english muffins I break out my favorite egg rings; yellow silicone made by Lodge. But like all egg rings I have examined, the handles are ‘floppy’, especially if they get wet or greasy! >L< Like, when would THAT ever happen! (The molding on the silicone for the handle should have been a square or hexagon, with a matching shape on the metal handle. Who thought a polished circle on round silicone was a good idea??? Idiots…)
But simply slip a #5 rubber O-ring over the silicone molding and you get just enough friction that you can position the handles upright and have them stay there. And it is still easy to move the handles to any other position, like for storage, and have them stay there too. ^L^
