Showing off new patterns for my collection (AI generated)

Been working on these for the last few days. Estimating about 12 hours spent making these patterns using AI to generate the initial images, creating a depth map from them and then using 3d software to clean them up and make them ready to export for cnc carving.

The patterns are 5” x 5” x .5”.

Nice job Oscar,

But please tell me, which species of cats have flowers on their heads.
Must be a mutation from a long time ago as the big cat has it too.

Next batch. They still need a bit of work cleaning up.

These look real nice. I need to retire so I have time to figure this stuff out. Do you carve all of them?

Thanks. Being retired does help but this new AI technology is crazy for cnc pattern creation.

I made these both for practice and to add to my stock library of patterns. I have made way over a thousand patterns over the last 10 years that I can reach into and make new patterns with by adding or modifying old models into new.

With AI you can make a base version of these with little or no 3d skills.

To pull out the detail, clean and refine the models is where more advanced 3d skills like digital sculpting come in and is what I was practicing and getting my processes down.

I will carve a couple. I was thinking of making some decorative corner rosettes from these series.

P.S.

What tool are you using for digital sculpting after you have the base image?

Hi. Blender and/or Zbrush. Depends on how dense I need to go. Blender was good enough for these.

I’ve also had 3dCoat for years but still haven’t really learned it.
