Sharing my first test print pics with my new Airwolf 3d HDX printer. This one has potential with the extruder motors mounted on the back of the printer which allows the hot end to travel faster with less vibration and clearer prints. Build space is 12"w x 9"d x 12"h.
I saw it in action at the matterhacker office a few times. I like the build volume, but for the price I was not impressed that it uses so many printed parts.
I heard it is made of acrylic and destined to actually shatter to bits after a year or so. I hope for your sake that these reports are false. Basically, I heard anything made of acrylic is bound to shatter eventually.
You hear a lot, but it’s always better to go with what you experience.
Haha im seeing nips on the final print…
This game out very nicely. The HDX is a really nice 3d printer
