Set Linear Advance Scaling Factors

Does this setting enable smoothieware?

I’m not sure exactly what you mean ( I know what advance is, just not sure what you are asking about it )

Are you asking whether smoothieware has a feature that is equivalent or the same as the Marlin linear advance feature?

Yes exactly.

No it doesn’t, we have found there’s at this point no clean and computing-efficient to do this in firmware, and as slicing programs ( Slic3r for example ) do this job very well, we rely on that.

I’m testing pellet extruder:

Author writes linear advance much improves quality.

Is there anything in Smoothie that you would reccommend for pellet extruders?

Best I could get so far 20mm cube: 1mm, nozzle, polystyrene, 215deg, 40mm/sec.

Linear advance is a parameter you can enable/tune in Slic3r

You are right and the only one I know. It’s missing in Prusa slicer unfortunately (I like it very much).
