Sculpfun S9 Pro Limit Switch, recognized when queried but won't home

Hey all,

I have a Sculpfun S9 Pro 10W that I recently purchased. I have considerable experience with 3D Printers, setting them up and upgrading/modding them. However, I bought a limit switch kit for the S9 from Amazon, which is an official Sculpfun. I installed the limit switch as per the YouTube video instructions. I edited the machine settings in Lightburn to turn on homing. When I attempt to home,I tested the limit switches using the ‘?’ query to the controller, and when pressed, the limit switches showed as pressed. The machine moves in the proper direction towards the limit switches, but the motors do not stop when the limit switches are hit. I tested the limit switches using the ‘?’ query to the controller, and when pressed, the limit switches are showing as pressed. So, I am at a loss as to why the ESP32 controller would see the limit switches when queried but not when actually homing. I updated my firmware to the most recent version available (firmware for the s30).

Any suggestions as to what the issue could be?

Thanks for the reply. It turns out that my board was labelled incorrect regarding the limit switches. X should be Y, and Y should be X. It works After switching the connectors around. It’s very frustrating, though, and I can’t figure out why Sculpfun wouldn’t have such an error listed in their help section. I only found one forum post, I can’t even remember where, that suggested that the silkscreening on the controller wasn’t accurate.
