Cool little video. I’ve dabbled in scientific glass blowing in college and some later in my professional lab days. It’s always amazing what true professional blowers are able to make.

I used to do a bit of this for our chemistry department, back when we had a dedicated glassblowing lab, and it was a lot of fun. Very challenging, though.

Any chance you still have a small bench lathe for sale in that old scientific department you mentioned ?
Alas, that was 30 years ago and as far as I know, they closed down the glass shop probably 20 years ago when the guy I learned from retired.
There are some new manufacture glass lathes, even some DIY ones, but, pricey!
