I currently own a 3018 PROVer and I have a very positive experience with this machine. Especially price/quality ratio. The only downside is the play on the bit itself. It’s just too much for some projects.
Looking at the 4030 PROVer, it seems it’s more rigid, only I’m worrying about the plastic wheels as guides…
Does anyone of you guys have experience with rigidity of the 4030 compared to the 3018, wrt the the play on the router bit?
To be clear, the play is in the assembly, not the bit in the clamping nut.
