Hello friends,
I’ve made an upgrade to my printer, which involves replacing the filament break detection sensors.
My printer is a VEHO 600 PRO 2E from TRONXY. It has a dual extruder in a single head. It’s not the best printer brand, although it is the cheapest. As usual, Tronxy printers always have design issues, and the technical support they offer isn’t the best either. When purchasing a Tronxy printer, you must assume that you’ll have to do your part to solve any problems the printer presents.
In this printer’s case, it has a serious problem with the design of the original filament break detection sensors. These automatically disassemble due to the vibration of the printer itself while it’s working, and parts end up falling off, ruining the print you’re making. The solution is to replace them with more common ones.
I had to design and print mounts for the new filament break detection sensors. They aren’t the best sensors either, but they do solve the problem.
You need to extend the E1 cable, and the E2 cable is the same one, at least it worked for me.
Here’s the link where you can find the bracket for the sensors I designed.

Also, the link where you can find the new sensors (it’s the transparent one), in case anyone has the same printer as me and I assume they’ll have the same problem.
