Recently printed out a 20" tall Eiffel Tower model on my C-Bot. Came out pretty well IMO.

Nice. Have you tried printing small details with direct extruder faster then 60 mm/s?

(Eric Pavey) #3

I have gone up to 90 successfully, but was just playing it safe.

Hi Eric, lovely print.
What’s your retraction speed & distance?
Thanks

It’s beautiful!

Brilliant work! Your time laps is really cool.

Amazing - can you share the slicer settings please.

(Eric Pavey) #8

@Ivan_Hoe : I’m retracting 1mm @ 90mm/sec.
@Dushyant_Ahuja : I’m not sure how to attach something to these comments. But if someone can tell me how, I can add my S3D .fff file. I’m searching google for how to do this, coming up with nothing :S

To share a file put it in github and share the link

That is now a awesome print.

@Richard_Neefe : I’m sure it’s a good suggestion, but as a long time P4 user, github drives me bonkers. Just spent 15 minutes trying to setup a new repository, still can’t figure out how to simply add a file via the web interface, or the desktop app I downloaded. gRawrra!! :wink:

Google Drive to the rescue: Here’s a link to the FFF I used to print it:
