Re: Printing grayscale using 2.5W laser

I’ve been using my new 2.5W Laser from Gearbest for a few days. I’ve gotten great results from the 0.1mm diameter setting.

I’ve also played with the MIN and MAX settings for the laser. I’m cutting on wood I got from the local hobby store (looks like pine). I did notice if I lower the MAX from 100% to 90% - the laser doesnt cut/engrave any of the wood. Furthermore, am not seeing any results with alpha/gradient prints like the line below:

Does anyone have any good settings to be able to print this and get high quality? Is there any post processing steps I need to take to get the 20% to 90% grays to show up?

Thanks - I’ll certainly look at the link.

Awesome thanks!
