Raster over my custom wallets. Im really digging this
you could try a qtip with denatured alcohol… or using some of the hand cleaners like go-jo that have orange oil in them…
I would try a test piece engrave a couple of smaller squares and try out a few different products
I usually just use methylated spirits or even plain water to clean off my leather after raster.
That looks great from a technical aspect.
I’ve never gotten the appeal of the skull or bones motif though, guess it’s just me…
That’s cool man!
For those following along methylated spirits is the same as denatured alcohol depending on the part of the world you are from determines how its marketed it’s also called denatured rectified spirit in some locations
So do you scrub it off with a sponge or?
@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty Usually I just use a cloth, sponge would do the trick. Something not too abrasive though, as leather can scratch on the surface. Also, note that the methylated spirits (denatured alcohol) will dry the leather out, so it will be advisable to condition/moisturise the leather after doing this. I use Bick 4 Leather Conditioner (see: https://www.amazon.com/Bickmore-Bick-Leather-Conditioner-Ounces/dp/B00E6M5WAG)
