R7 CNC Github

Files are up now. Sorry for the delay. Life and work get in the way. But it is a complex model and I wanted to do it justice. The machine is a beast.

R7 CNC files are now out in GitHub. I will add additional drawings and exploded view drawings as time allows. But this should get a motivated maker going:

Really nice documentation!

Thank you. I intend to do more drawings and prints as time allows. Also I need to cull through the Google drive dump provided by Brandon to see what else should be included (there are many design revisions in there to organize). But for now I figured it would be best to get a starting point out there, and see if anyone else wanted to contribute.

Want to build a pages site (github pages / gitlab pages / netlify site) around this? I learned enough jekyll when working on the HercuLien/Eustathios static import that I could help set something up if you’d like.

I think the github, and here on Makerforums together should be enough. To be honest, I am crammed for time recently… So I don’t know if I am up for managing too much more.

Yeah, I was thinking that I could try to wrap the existing repository to make it build into a site, not thinking of asking for more work. But you’re right, it’s not the most important thing to work on right now.

I see that the .gsheet files are just references to google sheets that aren’t actually publicly shared. I asked for access to the ones I saw so that I could save them to multiple formats and submit a PR with the actual data.

I didn’t delete the .gsheet references, but I did add (slightly-improved) copies. Pull request ready for merge at:
