Question on aluminum dies for hot foil stamping

I have a cnc router that can do aluminum. How would i get this result for a die? Software? Bits? We do our designs in vector art. How would i get from the vector art file to these results? Thanks!

This is on my list of things to do, as I have a custom die to make to do several hundred impressions with!

My initial plan was to use kiri:moto to first rough the pattern to clear away most of the material with a flat end mill, then carve away the angle with a V bit. I haven’t done it yet, so also interested in hearing from anyone who has.

What software u use

I’ve used it for things that are relatively similar to this in the past. For example:

That software free? Kiri:Moto

Fusion 360 can import SVG files. You would need to learn how to use the CAM setups for your style of machine, and then post process it to GRBL g-code, in which then you would import it into your CNC driving application… It’s all a learning curve.
