Question. I have a Monoprice printer and am running Cura software.

Question. I have a Monoprice printer and am running Cura software. I have uploaded some .stl files that had a lot of support material. I found an option in the Cura software to LAY FLAT the object. Seems my part is different once I chose the LAY FLAT option (just wanting to get rid of all the Support material and print time that was added when I ran the file as it was delivered from our designer. Can LAY FLAT cause differences in the part vs running the file as delivered and removing all the support material?
Thank you for your valuable time.

I’ve never seen it do that. What’s different about the part?

@Kevin_Danger_Powers Part appeared thinner as though the lay flat took some material below the plane of the bed of the printer. I have discovered my bed heater was flaky and have since repaired that. Thank you for reply Kevin!!
