Question about slicers. I have been using Cura 14.12 for a few weeks without much trouble. Then I got it into my mind that I should try and be more “future proof” and start using Cura 2.
I transferred my printing profiles over to the newer software but the g-code files from Cura 2 make my printer get all hyper. It moves much faster than I was asking and it does not seem to extrude that much. I checked the firmware that it thinks my printer has and it matches as far as I can tell (Marlin)
I am using the HICTOP Prusa I3 MK2 printer.
Any advice on migrating over to Cura 2 would be amazing. Could my printers firmware need an upgrade?
