Hello, I would like your help with a problem I’m having. I have a K40, and lately the issues I’m facing are that the “Initialize” button doesn’t work and it goes straight to “Unlock.” Also, with large SVG files, at some point—not a specific one—the laser shifts along the X-axis to another position, causing the raster file to be engraved elsewhere each time. I have replaced the cable because at some point I got a USB time error, and I also changed the M2 board, but nothing has changed. Note: I don’t have this issue with small files.

This can be a mechanical issue. Does it shift a consistent amount?
I don’t believe it’s a mechanical issue. It can engraves well small svg files…
Small in engraved area or small in file size?
Small in area you might be limited by low acceleration to not, say, skip a step on a loose belt. It’s not clear whether you are talking about a small offset like the size of a belt tooth or a much larger offset.
If you want to follow the software side, you can always try out Meerk40t and see if it shows the same problem.
