Looks to me you are trying to download 2 files and the 2nd one fails…
Do you see the xxxx-kernel.bin file?
I was able to download the sha256sums file( wget https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/24.10.4/targets/ramips/mt7620/sha256sums ) and maybe when you typed in that you mistakenly hit 2 or 3 keyboard keys which added a hidden character into the string.
If you see the kernel bin file in your directory then I would retype the SHA256SUMS=‘…’ line and try again.
