Printed out a small glass piece captured with 123D Catch, blown by a studio art student here at UNK. Used Makerbot’s Grape Candy ABS filament and was blown away by the results! On the spool, the filament doesn’t look too spectacular, but when printed, it takes on a really surprising gloss that makes the pieces look amazing. As you tilt the object around IRL, you can see all of the different polygons/faces reflecting light, its really kind of mesmerizing. Now I want more shiny filament!
