Printed giant “layers” to make a 3d jigsaw of a gnome (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:187840) to help entertain kids while they learn something about how reprap printers work. Sliced to SVG at 3mm layer height with slic3r. Then I used the SVG as input to some perl to generate openscad objects that represent each layer. Each layer has “bumps” to fit gaps in the layer above. I’ll put the code on github/thingiverse/youmagine when I get it tidied up.
