Ah nice, so you use a 4 panel thrust vectoring system on the bottom for counter-rotation, direction, etc. Very nice. As Liam asked – will you be publishing the files? The reduction in BOM (motors, control electronics) may allow many more people to get into this hobby than before.

Also, I’ve always thought to myself – Wouldn’t it be easier to throw the weight (battery) to the bottom so that it acts somewhat as a pendulum and self stabilizing mechanism for the machine? That way you don’t have to have any crazy IMU in order to counter being top-heavy?

More and more FPV racers are going to top mounted batteries to improve the “crispness” of the handling. Aerodynamic instability taxes the flight controller more; but, very good 32 bit flight controllers are cheap now and getting cheaper every day.
