Hi All. Ive just upgraded my controller to the Monport v2. I also installed an analogue Laser current meter. My problem is that when running Lightburn, 25% power from Lightburn is produving 14mA of current. I have checked the PWM output from the board, and it is shown 1.7v for 25% out put, and 5v for 100% output. (I had the laser disabled for these checks.) Ma I missing something?
Voltage on the pwm should be the percentage of power times 5V.
I’d expect 25% power to read 1.25V. – .25 * 5 is 1.25.
But even at 1.7 volts, 14mA is way too high… I’d think lps.
Depending on your tube length, that’s near maximum.
Provide picture and model # of the LPS.
How is your LPS connected to the controller?
