Was replacing the flag on the flag pole attached to front of the house today. At the top end of the pole there is a ring with a clip that clips into the top of the flag to keep it from siding down the pole. The ring on mine broke today while I was changing the flag and I was like “damn it, I wonder if I can buy a replacement part?” Then it hit me, I’ve got a 3D printer now and I can just print a new one. 
First thing I’ve designed and printed from scratch.
