Later today, 21 August, we plan to update MakerForums to Discourse 2.6.0 beta2. This comes with lots of new features. Of particular interest is a new feature for sharing quotes from posts here to external sites — you can highlight text to quote and then click twice to share externally. If you are excited to show off MakerForums content on other platforms, this will make it easier.

When you select text, you now have the option to Share just that text via Twitter, Reddit, or email, much the same as you do with a complete post using the icon at the bottom of the post.
