How so? Which bits did you attend? Mostly self-indulgent, marketing technobabble lacking substance.?.

Well the exhibit itself was very small. I only attended the tables. I wasn’t able to shell out $500 for the lectures. RepRap was NOT there - not even a mention of it. It seemed pretty thrown together actually. There were a few companies there that were mainly for company prototype production, which is to be expected for a business to business expo. Makerbot and 3D Systems were the big companies there. Bre Pettis was surrounded by anyone with a camera of course. Many of the people at the tables were very uninformative and unable to directly answer basic straight forward questions. Hopefully the next one will be more worthy of the $10 cover charge.
