I’m in the progress of making a “DIY” adjustable power supply with the very nice DPS5005 as a base. While looking for inspiration, I stumbled upon the very nice idea from pwkalahar.
Basically, use the batteries of your powertools to power the power supply. Very neat idea that I needed to share!
Definitively going to do such a thing!

Interesting to see a portable 3DP powered this way. Probably too much to expect a heated bed on battery power. Might need a propane hot end.

How much power does a DICE consume in an hour? The biggest battery of that style seems to offer maybe 90WH.
