I would like to make the ramps reset button more accessible. It seems like there should e a reset header but I don’t see one. Is soldering to the reset button the best bet? Do I just pull it low for reset? That might let me reset from the raspi gpio without any additional circuitry.

Why do you programmatically want to reset it?

Edit: also to answer your question, yes soldering to the button or removing the button to solder to would work. It just connects the reset to ground.

@Justin_Nesselrotte , I use ramps to turn the printer on and off via the psu on pin. Yesterday I started a print with the psu off, and because of the wait for bed temp command, I could not turn it back on or bring the bed to temp. Apparently the start gcode is issued after that.
