Open Source experimental software to merge multiple g-code files into one for printing.

Open Source experimental software to merge multiple g-code files into one for printing. For example, slice a statue 3 times… once high infill, once hollow, and once with fine detail and medium infill. Then blend them so the base has high infill, the body is hollow, and the top has the fine detail.

Work in progress – feedback welcome.

Interesting Idea - will check out later. Software is the next big thing in 3dPrinting imho

In that case I joined at exactly the right time to have an epic ton of fun

Only seen this suggested doing manually. Was thinking of whipping something up when i needed it. Very useful if user friendly

Right now it is a CLI interface but I hope fairly intuitive. If there is demand, the code is set up for a Qt or other GUI driver, I just haven’t built it yet.

Nice work @Al_Williams I do a lot of Gcode mixing manually, will try this out later and thanks for getting something up and running.
