Omtech K40+ Postion Errors

Hello all!

Recently, I have been having issues with my OMTech K40+ where it will seem to forget where it is.

The issue: When I am cutting something it will do the border correctly but when it goes to do any inside elements the laser will start cutting again in the wrong spot and end up triggering an e-stop.

Also, I have no idea if this means anything but when I did a test on 5% power it was fine, but when I bumped it up to 10% it started having this error again.

Many thanks,
Tyson

Extra Info:
I am using an OMTech K40+, LaserGRBL and the laser beam itself seems aligned, just not the position of the head.

That looks like a power supply that cannot deliver enough current for both the laser and the stepper motors. First thing I would try is a beefier power supply.
… or is it possible to use a separate supply for the laser?

Post a picture of the connector side of your LPS. What is its model #.

This could also be noise from the LPS if it is arching which in turn drives the control electronics nuts.

Can you hear any crackling or hissing when the machine runs the job?
