ok so iv encountered a new issue… this time its power related ! go figure…i just got my auto bed tramming and all my electronics fairly dialed in, except, now all the sudden i have power issues, i think… ok so i have a Xtreme LP-6100D 400w 12v25amp single rail PSU running everything…i have a 7.68ohm 10w PWR resistor on the 3v line and a 4ohm 10w PWR resistor on the 5v line to induce the 12v to full power…well with no load i have 12.55v output, when connected to ramps setup it dwindles to 12.20v output, with the Bed heater on it drops to 11.70v, with the nozzle on and fan running it drops to 10.98v…all readings taken at the PSU mainboard !!! not the ramps input connection… so when i tried to do my PID tuning for the Bed, it fails with a TIMEOUT error? i never had this issue before…
is my PSU junk?
is there a way i can increase voltage to say 14v ?
are the load resistors needed? i did it based on a recommendation with out testing from the reprap forums…
Your power supply only delivers 25A on the 12v rail.
Maybe look for a non used taiwanian item:

Adjustable to 13,2v. I don’t know the tax to US .
yup ur right my bad typo…but still, it shouldnt need more than 20 amps… fixed typo.
