Ok completely on wrong track here.
I have 2 images one is what I had in Laserweb the other is what it made.
I am trying to make one of those test patterns so i know how darka burn will come out on a certain material.
I am running Cohesion3D
Errors I see Boxes not even close to layout and the all look to be burned at same level of power. in the power level set in Laser web was set at 10% for lowest left hand box and went up by 10 to the right and upwards.
The image I used was a simple 10mm all black square done in Bitmap.
No idea what to ask but as you can see the burn was a utter failure. As this is a new hobby I am know who to blame lol. so where do I start to fix all this?
Welcome to the hobby! I’d recommend posting your settings fully when posting as in speed, laser power%, # of passes, burn white/trim white/join pixels on or off, laser diameter, etc. Any changes made to your config file? Help us help you
kk now are you set to mm/sec or mm/min? and for rasters its a power range as min and max, im guessing your numbers assume min is 0? (so 0-10, 0-20, etc) @raykholo any ideas?
Looks like a issue with you y-axis. Is it driven by belt or lead screw? If belt: can it be that belt is slipping over pulley or pulley is slipping on moter shaft? In case of lead screw: can it be that set screws of shaft coupler is not tight and either moter shaft or lead screw slips in coupler?
Either what @Tinkering_On_Steroid said, or your steppers are not functioning properly (not enough torque or not enough power from the board - which is unlikely with a C3D - or stepper pulse timing issues)
