Office Name Plate

My wife works at the local hospital as a patient liaison in the surgical pavilion. The hospital is adding on more surgical space and recently opened a new lobby. As part of the rework my wife’s patient liaison colleague got a new office. The office is an old post surgery Dr conference room that doesn’t have a name plate. So my wife asked me to make him one as a Christmas gift.

Laser cut and engraved from 3/16" cherry with a gloss poly finish and black paint infill for the lettering. Turned out pretty good. Looks even better in person. Added some double sided tape to the back for mounting.

Simple and sweet! Nice figure in that wood.

Thanks  . I’ve had a piece of 3/16" x 6” x 6’ cherry for awhile that I picked up cheap from my local hardwood supplier. Kept forgetting I had it. Cut off a price long enough and was able to pick the best figure from that section.

Apparently Keith loved it. Got a picture of it mounted. :grinning:
