(Off Topic?) Sean Hodgins created an addressable 7 segment display module using WS2811 chips.
I love the idea to abuse the three channels to each control a segment and do something the chip wasn’t really designed for.
Yup these are great, im waiting on someone to matrix them up into a screen!
