The frog is nice but for myself I collect Turtles

What is the requirements for a laser printer while all do you have to have

Do you mean an SLS printer ?

@Jonathan_Cohen Nice! Also been building one with 1100 mm 2040 OpenBuilds verticals for quite a while now. Just curious, why did you go with such a small bed? It must be able to print well outside the bottom triangle.

@Jonathan_Cohen Also seriously considering Zesty Nimble or the Flex3Drive. Happy with yours?

@Petr_Sedlacek I wanted to keep the bed in line with the horizontal so I kept the bed diameter to 330mm.

@Petr_Sedlacek Its different from what I’m used to. The mounting to the effector is really stable but the cable has a little bit of a kick to it, so I’ll have to tune my settings.

I have a total of 4 flex3drives. They work well. Your print speed and results will improve if you swap to a nema 8 to drive it. It has just enough torque with much lower rotor inertia and lower inductance so you can switch directions quicker without missing steps.

@Ben_Malcheski I have a Nema17 on there right now, which is what I had. Which specific stepper motors are you using ?

@Jonathan_Cohen Micro Step Motor Nema 8 Bipolar Stepper Motor 0.6A http://5.7oz.in/4Ncm DIY Robot https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PLIW946/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_cl-gBbBM1WYZF

I run mine at 500mA. Had to make a new motor mount plate.

You can buy them through their site too.
