Now this looks interesting. I use ColorFabb filaments exclusively and this seems to place between their PLA/PHA and XT. It’s still Amphora as with XT, but it’s meant to be really easy to print, not that XT isn’t. 85˚c bed and 220-240˚ Nozzle.
Also today there’s the code blackfriday2015 for 4 spools for the price of 3 on all their filaments… I see money being spent very soon…

I’m about to try it.
Ordered 4 spools of 2.2Kg each that I want to use for technical parts (as I can’t smooth it with acetone and it looks to be even tougher to sand then PLA).
Yup, have 5 750g spools coming now… Hopefully it’ll be a replacement for the PLA/PHA I’m using to print 18650/26650 Battery sleds with. I mean It’s the colours that I use, specifically the Blue that I wanted in XT but this should be pretty mucht he same with the colours I need.
I’m documenting my findings and links here:
Just drop me a note if you find anything I should add. (Blog postings are more permanent then Google+ status updates more consize then Forum threads.)
So, the NGEN came in today, first impressions are that it prints really easily, I set off a 6 hour print on a plate of a new Battery sled model I have and it just stuck. 220c/80c Bed and no issues Prints like PLA/PHA at a higher temp. In fact probably better. 45 degree angles and not even a loose bit a filament on the 9 sleds that are printing. Something tells me this will be my new filament of choice. I’ll report back on strength later when the print’s done.
try standing and solvents too please!
