Seems like a cool solution for multi part print situations. Bed leveling would be a pain, and you better have a large desk.

you could have, in terms of a typical reprap style printer, a Y-axis that was n-times long to do the same; a bit of microcode to offset the y-axis after each print, pretty much what you would need to rotate the round plate.

doesn’t really need a delta on the doughnut - just an XZ stage with Y being the rotation of the build plate. Some firmware updates needed to compensate for angular motion, but shouldn’t be too hard.

I guess you could use such a system to print a big wind turbine as a single part with this design, but in such a case the delta is overkill and you’d have to disassemble the printer to remove it from the print bed!
